OCTA 18th Anniversary – Caleb Caudle

Our anniversary bash continues in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Americana singer-songwriter Caleb Caudle has been a regular visitor on this blog since I fell in love with his 2014 album Paint Another Layer On My Heart. I’m honored to welcome him to the festival stage to play a beautiful version of NYC In The Rain. The original can be found from his 2018 album Crushed Coins and you can hear it by following that bandcamp link below the video. Caleb Caudle also recorded a new album early in the year at the legendary Cash Cabin studios. The album is not yet out and available, but they recorded a great cover of Hank Williams classic Howlin’ at the Moon while there. It came out a few weeks ago and can be found from the streaming services (like Spotify for example).

OCTA 18th Anniversary – Michael Feuerstack

Anniversary festival build its stage in Montreal, Canada and meets up with songwriter Michael Feuerstack. He has been releasing great songs for over two decades. First under the moniker Snailhouse and these days under his own given name. He will play for us a marvellous poetic song Outskirts from his most recent 2018 album Natural Weather. It was one of my personal favorites from last year, so I really recommend hitting that bandcamp link below to hear more beautiful sounds and captivating words from Michael Feuerstack. The music video for Love Is All Around is also a great place to start.
