Another one that I’ve failed to mention during the busy summer months. The master of soulful blues, Patrick Sweany, released a new album Close To The Floor on 16th of July. His previous one That Old Southern Drag is still a huge favourite of mine. That’s just one amazing and consistently brilliant album. I think I’ve played most of those songs during my DJ duties at Flavour of the Month club. This new one might not quite reach that insanely high level, but it’s definitely another really strong release from Patrick Sweany. Fabulous stuff. This one below is the wonderful opener Working For You even though personal favourite song is probably Slippin’.
