Another year, another new music weekly.
This first one is a monster and longer than anyone will listen. Trying to cover a month’s worth of new music is a tough task. Even though December and early January isn’t the busiest time of the year. So yeah this includes stuff from early December to the new music of this Friday. I didn’t make good notes along the way, so I’m 100% sure that I forgot to include something important. It gets easier next week when I need to cover just one week.
The albums here are from Cedric Noel, Humbird, Freschard, Early James, Brigid Mae Power (covers), Delving (EP), Austin Leonard Jones, Luke Trimble, Nolan Taylor and Jesper Lindell (EP).
The Finnish part has new albums from Jani Matti Juhani, Sanni Reilin, niilo karppinen and Jaanat. So many singles too that probably no point to retype them all here. You’ll find them all on the list below. Finnish part starts from song #28 and ends on song #47. If you want some highlights, I love those Ullalintulampi singles for example. I included two, because one is from December and the other is brand new.
New Will Stratton song is the international song of the weekend. After two singles, I’m fairly sure that Will Stratton’s album will be on my top 10 for 2025, if this blog/world still exists at the end of 2025. Some other early faves came from. Dean Wareham, Wild Flowers, Fust, Mitch Dillon’s Compulsive Ramblers, Tobacco City, The Burning Hell, Vanessa Peters, Brent & Madeline, Office Culture. Just to name a few. There’s like a million of them here. Ok, I don’t have good math skills, but there’s plenty anyway.
