Another week, another new music weekly.
Probably plenty of things flew under my radar this week, because a) I’ve been sick all week long b) I did this very quickly on Saturday morning due to EURO2020 (Finland will play this evening). That is my main focus this weekend instead of new releases. However, there’s a really lot of those beautiful album and single releases this weekend including lots of big personal favorites. So let’s get on to the finest new music of the week.
My album of the week is the new wonderful Evan Cheadle album Fault Like Serenade. Other big album releases this week came from Jeremy James Meyer, St. Lenox, Quivers, Jenny Don’t and The Spurs, Rachel Baiman, Peter Bruntnell, Joana Serrat, Cory Grinder & The Playboy Scouts, Jeb Loy Nichols, Sweet Megg & Ricky Alexander and Chloe Foy.
From Finland we are celebrating return single from Burning Hearts, first solo single from Sami Yaffa and covers EP by Janne Laurila and Deux Villes.
The international singles are really strong this week. The stand-outs for me were the album announcements and first singles from big favorites Flora Hibberd, Josienne Clarke, Kashena Sampson and James McMurtry. We also got additional advance single gold from the forthcoming albums by Summer Dean, Chris Acker, Vincent Neil Emerson, John R. Miller, Jeremy Squires and Lucy Dacus. Again just to name a few. There’s treasures throughout the whole list like Charlie Parr’s eight minute opus, new one from Cameron Knowler and many others.
That’s all for now. Time to shift focus to football. Love from a distance.

Oh and do buy the vinyl/cd/download. Spotify and other streaming services are perfect for these introductory purposes, but try to buy at least the music that matter the most to you
If you are looking this after a week has gone, the embedded Spotify will show the latest playlist. I’ll just update the same playlist because a) if someone wants to follow it, they can just follow that one list and will get a new set of songs each Sunday b) so that I don’t have a trillion of different playlists on my Spotify account.
