Another week, another weekly playlist.
It was tough week to concentrate on music or anything really. Therefore no other updates than this weekly playlist. Thank you music though. I would be lost without you.
The new albums from Sam Doores and Maya De Vitry have been my early favorites, but the week also gave new albums from Early James, Monophonics, Joel Henry Little, Gabe Lee, Kellen of Troy, Dave Simonett, Dietrich Strause, Fanny Lumsden, Josaleigh Pollett and Former Ruins. The album from Sweet Megg is a few weeks older, but back then it wasn’t on Finnish Spotify. Now I noticed that it is. Then there’s also EPs from Anna Lynch and Andrea Von Kampen.
The big one from Finland is the new Kalevi Suopursu album (also by far my favorite release of the week altogether). The album from Ninni Forever Band is also a great one and then there’s gorgeous singles from Nightbird, Tvärtom and Ghost World. Plus revisiting the Laura Moisio album that came out a week ago. I still love it dearly.
The best music news of the week was that Luka Kuplowsky has joined Mama Bird family. They start their journey together with a covers EP and first song surfaced earlier in the week. Other single highlights this week came from Cayley Thomas, Ali Holder, Joey O’Neill, Jack Grelle, Strawberry Heritage, Anna Burch, Dan Reeder, Ron Sexsmith, Nap Eyes, Reb Fountain and so forth. Every track would be worthy of a namedrop, so just hit play and love them. One of my big favorites J.E.Sunde also has a new song available in some parts of the world. Not yet in Finland, so I can’t include it here but check it out elsewhere.
That’s it for this week. I hope I get some stuff done next week, but no promises whatsoever. Take care everyone and love love love.

Oh and do buy the vinyl/cd/download. Spotify and other streaming services are perfect for these introductory purposes, but try to buy at least the music that matter the most to you
If you are looking this after a week has gone, the embedded Spotify will show the latest playlist. I’ll just update the same playlist because a) if someone wants to follow it, they can just follow that one list and will get a new set of songs each Sunday b) so that I don’t have a trillion of different playlists on my Spotify account.
