Getting a bit quiet on the release front. That’s only a good thing, because I need to do the eoty lists as well. Maybe two more new music weeklies and then I take a month long break from this. So last one for 2024 on the weekend of 7th-8th of December.
Some big album releases though. New Simon Joyner is the album of the week. It’s a heavy one, because it’s a tribute to his son who passed away in 2022. Other great album releases came from Father John Misty, Kim Deal, Will Johnson (EP), Racoma, Dogwood Tales (EP), Vista House, Ags Connolly (James Hand covers), Michael Kiwanuka, Eddie 9V and Golden Tiles (EP).
From the Finnish side of things, we have new albums from A.Takalo, Taikayö Camping, Muovikukat and Baabelin Nulikat plus singles from Lyyti, Tams, FER, Satu Lii, Cult of Stenman and Uusi Fantasia feat Antti Autio.
New The Delines song is the international single of the week. Some other early faves came from Drew Beskin, Sam Moss, King Husky, Brigid Mae Power and Ryli. Again just to name a few.
That’s all for now. Like, share, follow and all the usual promotional nonsense. It all matters. Back to the AOTY drafting and back next week with another of these episodes. Love love love.

A few Bandcamp cuts for the lovely non-streamers:
Oh and do buy the vinyl/cd/download. Spotify and other streaming services are perfect for these introductory purposes, but try to buy at least the music that matter the most to you
I’ll make the playlist on Spotify and then transfer it to other platforms. This means a few tracks might be missing from the from the other platforms, if they are not available there. Oh and there’s a bunch of older episodes on my Spotify profile, if you miss an episode or want to revisit.
If you are looking this after a week has gone, the embedded Spotify will show the latest playlist. I’ll just update the same playlist because if someone wants to follow it, they can just follow that one list and will get a new set of songs each weekend.
