Another very short and quick music video post. First up a beauty from folk songwriter Lou Hazel. You are going to love this one unless you have coulrophobia. Such a damn good song and the video works too. I’m ready to shout his name from the rooftops.
I’ve been a fan of New York-based songwriter Eamon Fogarty’s since his 2019 album Blue Values. His latest album I’m an animal now came out in June on Orphan Kiosk Recordings and it’s another beauty. Here’s Junk Mail from this gorgeous album.
Annie Schermer and Channing Showalter make music together under the name West of Roan and their album Queen of Eyes came out on SPINSTER in July. Haunting folk balladies with beautiful harmonies and what not. Marvellous stuff altogether. Here’s the ending song By All the Night wrapped inside awesome animated music video.
Let’s wrap this little blog post with a song from the new Shabason, Krgovich & Sage album. So easy to get blissfully lost in these warm elegant sounds and listening to this on headphones is like an antidote against the sometimes stressful everyday life. This is Bridget from their new self-titled album that is out on the always great Idee Fixe Records.
