OCTA New Music Weekly – Episode #294

A late Sunday evening new music weekly.

The album of the week is the new one from Caleb Caudle. We also have new albums from Hannah Juanita, Dominic Angelella, Sima Cunningham, Ned Collette (I thought this was next week, but seems to be available now. Not sure if that is a mistake or not), The Cactus Blossoms, Justin Golden, Floating Action, Shady Cove, Why Bonnie, Thee Heart Tones, David Ritschard (EP).

Finnish part of this has albums from Jukka Takalo, Kumma heppu ja lopunajan voidellut (this was last week, but missed it then), Toni Hautamäki, Jonna Tervomaa plus an EP from STINAKO. Some singles gold too by Iron Country Sisters, Rock Siltanen Group, Solemn Golem, Markus Asunta, Miika Leivo and VON KONOW.

International single of the week is the new one from Katie Baggs. Other early faves came from Adeline Hotel, P:ano, Jennifer Castle, Your Heart Breaks, Max Bien Kahn again just to name a few. I also liked a lot of 54 Ultra songs that I came across this week and included one of them even though they are some weeks or months older.

That’s all for now. Like, share, follow and all the usual promotional nonsense. It all matters. Back next week. Love love love.

A few Bandcamp cuts for the lovely non-streamers:

Oh and do buy the vinyl/cd/download. Spotify and other streaming services are perfect for these introductory purposes, but try to buy at least the music that matter the most to you

I’ll make the playlist on Spotify and then transfer it to other platforms. This means a few tracks might be missing from the from the other platforms, if they are not available there. Oh and there’s a bunch of older episodes on my Spotify profile, if you miss an episode or want to revisit.

If you are looking this after a week has gone, the embedded Spotify will show the latest playlist. I’ll just update the same playlist because if someone wants to follow it, they can just follow that one list and will get a new set of songs each weekend.
