Another week, another new music weekly.
Summer and first dose of vaccine has arrived. Which is nice even if it doesn’t help me from finally fully recovering from whatever bug I caught back in march 2020. Oh yeah and there’s plenty of records to love as well. So let’s not drag this into a personal mumbo jumbo territory and instead go to the finest new music of the week.
My highlight’s of the week are the new albums by Turner Cody & The Soldiers of Love and Tristen. That’s just a tiny fraction of all the lovely action and we also got new albums from Angela Autumn, Marina Allen, Gary Louris, Megan Palmer (EP), Rachel Sermanni (EP), Sam Filiatreau, Louien (EP), Andrew Sa (EP), Calming River, Japanese Breakfast, Hanemoon, The Speedways (cover EP). Ruby Oland’s album is from January, but I missed it at the time.
The Finnish section is slightly smaller this time around. The personal favorite here is the new single from Amuri. Other Finnish treasures are an album from The Stillwalkers and singles from Ruissalo Amping, Lapsuus and Tender Lakes (b-side of last week’s single).
And last but not least the international singles. That new Andrew Bryant song is probably my song of the week, but I’m also very fond of the songs by Icarus Phoenix, Scott Hirsch, Hiss Golden Messenger, Drew Beskin, K.C.Jones, Sierra Ferrell, Woods and Sleepy Jean. Again just to name a few. You’ll find them all below.

Oh and do buy the vinyl/cd/download. Spotify and other streaming services are perfect for these introductory purposes, but try to buy at least the music that matter the most to you
If you are looking this after a week has gone, the embedded Spotify will show the latest playlist. I’ll just update the same playlist because a) if someone wants to follow it, they can just follow that one list and will get a new set of songs each Sunday b) so that I don’t have a trillion of different playlists on my Spotify account.
