Another week, another new music weekly.
I pretty much spent the whole week following NHL action, because there was both the draft and the free agency. Therefore I probably missed plenty of stuff this week, because I only started listening to the new releases last night. Sorry about that.
The big album release of the week is the new one from Swedish I’m Kingfisher. There’s also great new albums from Cut Worms, Bahamas, Great Peacock, Jon Snodgrass, Sam Lynch and Mary Lattimore. Plus EPs from Robert Michael Murphy and Yo La Tengo. Oh and Anne Malin album came out a week ago. Again having a cloud of guilt hanging over me for that one, because I shared the singles and then failed to mention the album release.
From Finland there’s a new album from Joensuu 1865 and singles from Message Field, Maustetytöt, Jani Matti Juhani and Iisa.
As for singles, there’s a great run early on with new songs from personal favorites like Carla Geneve, John Calvin Abney, Emilee Emiko, Caroline Spence and VanWyck. And later on more treasures like a new Pickering Pick song and a new Buck Meek song. And a whole lot more that you can find from the list below.
