This has been on my playlist for some weeks and deserves a lot of love. Wes Tirey is a great folk singer-songwriter and I Stood Among Trees is a marvellous little record. Kind of bare, but still very powerful and it really demands your attention right from the start and doesn’t let go before the last note. A really talented songwriter and storyteller.
