Stunning! Magnificent! Wonderful! Excessive praising mode is once again totally on. I’m just listening to something that is out of this world. A huge thank you to Common Folk Music for introducing Portland-based folk musician Barna Howard to me. Traditional folk in the vein of Bert Jansch, Bob Dylan.. Beautiful singing and fantastic songwriting. The album came out on vinyl (and digital) in february on Mama Bird Recording Co. I’m going to order the vinyl today.
