Big news! The new Cats on Fire album All Blackshirts To Me hit the record stores today. The regular readers all know that I love this band unconditionally. The finest indie pop band in the world in my books and All Blackshirts To Me is once again a wonderful record. The album was released in Finland by Soliti. The great indie pop label Matinee recordings is responsible for the US release. The record release party takes place at Dynamo, Turku on 30th of march.

The major announcement of the day was that Soliti will release the new Cats on Fire album All Blackshirts To Me on 28th of march. A Few Empty Waves is a brilliant new outtake from the upcoming album and it is now available as a free download. I’m so thrilled about the fact that there will soon be a new Cats on Fire album. There just isn’t a better indie pop band in the country/world.

Cats on Fire – My Sense Of Pride

Because I’ve selected the album of the year 2011, I can focus on selecting the album of the year 2012. Cats on Fire’s upcoming third album will be a major contender in that contest. The first outtake from the upcoming album was released today by Soliti Music. My Sense of Pride is again a wonderful song and the finest indie pop band in the world is still on top form. Album will be released by Soliti in the spring of 2012.
